The New Boys' Network Wraps Up Funding Round to Drive Growth of Creative Agencies Mr. Prezident and Fresqo.
Creative agencies Mr.Prezident and Fresqo have secured financial backing from three private investors, enabling them to continue their international mission to tackle boring and complex corporate communication.
After five years of organic growth, The New Boys' Network has successfully closed a funding round this month. The capital injection will be used to strengthen the teams and operational processes of Mr.Prezident and Fresqo as they continue their battle against dull and convoluted corporate messaging. The agencies serve both international and local clients, including Hyundai, KPMG, ABN AMRO, Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, and Dell.
The three private investors involved come from within the network and are strong believers in the vision of the two young founders. Beyond capital, these informal investors bring a wealth of experience from both the agency world and corporate industry.
“Now that we’ve successfully wrapped up the funding round, our primary focus will be on attracting and retaining even more talent so we can scale up further. It’s time to shift more responsibility to the team, allowing us as founders to focus solely on achieving our creative and commercial goals. We’ve proven there’s immense potential—now it’s time to deliver,” Bosschaart shares regarding the future plans for Mr.Prezident and Fresqo.
The New Boys' Network is the parent company of agencies Mr.Prezident (specializing in business presentations) and Fresqo (experts in illustrations and animations). Together, these niche agencies offer a complementary suite of services designed to help corporations, government bodies, and educational institutions structure and visualize key communications, including presentations, pitches, research, and reports.
“Even before founding Mr.Prezident, we had a striking realization. The world of business presentations seemed frozen in time for over thirty years since the introduction of PowerPoint. No matter how big or exciting a brand appeared on the outside, things got dull in meeting rooms—the very place where clients should be inspired, and employees should feel passionate. By simplifying complex stories for our clients and visualizing them in our distinct style, we created a new kind of presentation experience that was fresh to both our clients and the industry.”
“Before long, we were working with big names across Europe and the U.S. Clients quickly recognized the talent within our team and began requesting other types of content—everything from animated videos to infographics, print materials, and brand identities. That’s how our second agency, Fresqo, was born,” explains co-founder Paul van Hattem.
“Both agencies, along with our growth and international expansions to New York and Singapore, were self-funded. It was incredibly educational and challenging, but it also meant we lacked firepower at key moments, and as a result, many still see us as a best-kept secret,” adds co-founder Pieter Bosschaart, who oversees the commercial strategy of both agencies.
