AkzoNobel is a global leader in paints and coatings, with a strong position in vehicle refinishes. For the Kinetic ’25 event, AkzoNobel wanted to challenge the way the repair industry looks at sustainability.

In a market where margins are under pressure, regulations are increasing and customers expect greener value chains, sustainability is often seen as yet another burden. This presentation reframed that perception. Instead of treating sustainability as a checkbox or a cost, AkzoNobel positioned it as a powerful driver to save our planet ánd boost business growth.

The story showed how AkzoNobel helps bodyshops turn sustainable repair into a competitive advantage: lowering energy use, improving efficiency, reducing CO₂, proving impact with measurable data and becoming more attractive to insurers, fleets and repair networks.

At the heart of the presentation was a clear message: This is what it looks like when our whole industry starts moving together. Through innovative products, practical tools and the Sustainable Repair Network, AkzoNobel demonstrated that going greener can also mean becoming more profitable, more future-ready and more valuable to the entire industry.

Impressive Slides For An Impressive Screen

For the presentation, we worked with an exceptionally large and wide canvas. This gave us the space to create a modern visual approach, using strong photography, bold typography, striking colour accents and distinctive graphic elements.

The slides could feel spacious and dynamic rather than crowded, while still staying fully aligned with AkzoNobel’s brand identity - a visual world we know well. We made extensive use of layering creating a sense of depth and movement. This allowed the audience to visually travel through the story, with elements seemingly floating across and between slides.

After a day full of presentations, no one needs another spreadsheet or graph. They need something light… and a bit of humor. So for 1,500 people from the British car collision repair industry, we closed with a proper British punchline: if sustainability worked across the industry, the savings could buy everyone in the room 4,300 pints. A memorable way leave the audience with a laugh and to land the message: when sustainability works for business, everyone benefits.
